País €conómico magazine, which had previously mentioned the project in Bahia through two interviews with Deputy Governor João Leão, published in its October issue an interview with Euroeste's President Pedro Garcia de Matos.

The main highlight of the interview is the "strategic triangle formed by Portugal, Brazil and Angola", about which are discussed future investments at national level and the group's projects in Brazil - namely the Saudável Farm project, in Barra - and in Angola - focusing on Santo António's Farm, in Quibala, and the project in Cunene province, considered "the largest agricultural and agroindustrial project in Angola".

Starting by analyzing the group's activity in Brazil, Pedro Garcia de Matos stands out Bahia's attractive features like "space and territorial greatness to produce raw materials", before updating the project's evolution, currently "in the process of deforesting, clearing and granting of water and electricity".

Projecting Saudável Farm - that will include corn, soybean, fuba (cornmeal), compound fead production, pig farming, vegetables and fruit - Pedro Garcia de Matos points out, among other areas, pig farming, destined to "serve Bahia's own internal market" with the intention of "reducing the large domestic production shortfall of pork", in a state that "only produces about 60% of its own pork consumption".

Pedro Garcia de Matos is keen to highlight the role of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and the Government of Bahia, in the person of Deputy Governor João Leão, in the success of Saudável Farm's project: "We were welcomed and treated completely openly and transparently, with a strong sense of collaboration".

Regarding the group's presence in Angola, Santo António's Farm project is referred and described, and the project in Cunene province, which Pedro Garcia de Matos claims to be "the largest agricultural project that Angola has ever known", is highlighted.

Regarding the project in Cunene, Pedro Garcia de Matos explains Euroeste's role: "We developed the Economic Project and we are in charge of implementing and supervising the entire project, in a turnkey system, and posteriorly its own management by a period of five years with the possibility to renew for the same period", noting that Euroeste's experience as "specialized company in providing services" was essential to the assignment of the above mentioned responsabilities: "It was in this circumstance, and because of the know how we are recognized for, that we were chosen to be in the leadership of this great project in Angola and in Africa".

In Portugal, emphasis on forecasting investments "in new facilities or renovations of existing facilities" in the order of 4 million euros, implemented under PDR integrating European Union's 2020 Program.
