After the site visit, Jornal de Angola describes Euroeste's new project in the province of Cunene, "which that can turn out to be the largest agro-industrial pole of the south of Angola".

Stressing "the government's strategy to diversify the economy and stimulate domestic production" and highlighting the challenge accepted by the investor, the "Silvestre Tulumba Group" to "transform a traditionally cattle-breeding region", Jornal de Angola published an extensive article about Euroeste's new project in Calueque.

Under the slogan "sowing, reaping, processing, producing, distributing and consuming," the Euroeste group was selected to implement, develop and manage the project, whose total area is 110,000 hectares and includes:

  • 20.000 ha of irrigated land for cereal production;
  • 500 ha of irrigated land for vegetable production;
  • 500 ha of irrigated land for tomato production;
  • Horticultural central;
  • Tomato factory;
  • Soybean extrusion plant;
  • Feed mill;
  • Corn meal factory;
  • 2.200 sows in closed loop;
  • 2.200 cows for milk production;
  • Slaughterhouse and sausage;
  • Production and slaughtering of poultry.
  •

Witnessing the works in progress, Jornal de Angola highlights "the cultivation of corn and wheat in large scale" as "the strength of the agro-industrial project in Calueque". Later, the newspaper describes all the business areas included in the project, with natural emphasis on the number of jobs created in a project considered to have "all the conditions to bring about a change in the southern agricultural history of Angola".

The investor, the entrepreneur Silvestre Tulumba, which makes use of Euroeste's services to get the experience and knowledge to implement and efficiently manage a project of this magnitude, assured Jornal de Angola that "we are here to work to show the potential of Angola, ensure the supply of food to the population and help the executive in its program to combat hunger and poverty in the country".
